Selection Process

Written Exam: Conducted by the UPSC twice a year, it tests candidates in Mathematics, General Ability Test (GAT), and Science (Physics and Chemistry).

SSB: If you clear the NDA written exam, that’s fantastic! But there’s a 5-day interview camp next to assess your teamwork, problem-solving skills, and leadership potential. Think of it as a challenging yet fun test to see if you’re military material

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates must have completed 12th with PCM.

2. Age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years.

3. Both male and female candidates are eligible.

Selection Process

Preliminary Exam (Prelims): It’s a computer-based test with two papers: General Studies (GS) and CSAT (Aptitude Test). It helps filter out many candidates. You don’t need deep subject knowledge, but strong general awareness and problem-solving skills are important.
